Mod A is done

Well it has been a great Mod. I have had fun, learned many great things. Let's not forget it has been really stressful, but this is part of being an MA. Now on Monday we begin Mod B, which is our second change in classes. I am really looking foward to this and really looking foward to being more than an MA.

Our Mod B classes are:

410 MCA- Medical Assisting & Clinical Procedures A
410 PHA- Pharmacology A
410 APA- Anatomy & Physiology A
410 MTA- Medical Terminology A

I am really looking foward to these classes and learning more.

All About Me Projects

This one is mine on the top I share everything abouy my family. My kids and my wonderful and supportive wife. I shared where I am from and where I come from.

I added a wonderful script from a Rainbow Mug my wife has and it reads like this:
Whatever your mind can conceive and believe, it will achieve.
Dream great dreams and make them come true, do it now.
You are unique in all the history of the world, there was never anyone else exactly like you, and in all the infinity to come, there will be another you, never affirm self- limitations. What you believe yourself to be, you are to accomplish great things, you must not only act, but also dream, not only plan, but also believe. If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost, put foundations under them yes you can. Believing is magic, you can always better your best, you don’t know what you can do until you try, nothing will come of nothing.
If you don’t go out on a limb, you’re never going to find the fruit. There is no failure except in no longer trying. Hazy goals produce hazy results. Clearly define your goals. Write them down, make a plan for achieving them, set a deadline, visualize the results and go after them. Just don’t look back unless you want to go that way. Defeat may test you, it need not stop you, if you at first you don’t succeed, try another way. For every obstacle there is a solution. Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.
The greatest mistake is giving up. Wishing will not bring success, but planning persistence and a burning desire will. There is a gold mine within you from which you can extract all the necessary ingredients. Success is a attitude, get yours right now, show us the colors of your rainbow.





Today everyone in the classroom has share projects about "Me". Wow, many, many creative people. I had a great time today. I took my project and food, I share my favorite recipe of "Coca Cola Barbeque Ribs" and "Red Rice and Peas", everyone ate so much and enjoyed it. Here are some pictures of the projects and tomorrow I will add more.

GYN Project

This is my GYN project, we had so much fun placing information for all these poster boards. Each classmates had their own group in department. There were Uncology, Pediatrics, Gynecology, Internal Medicine and Laboratory. I will share my groups department. In this department was myself Jessica Ares, Tamika Scarvo, Marisol, Jamie and Sharon. We all enjoyed this project and share many great ideas. I have never seen many creative people like these. Everyone in my class is wonderful and very creative.

I have placed information about the Reproductive System and Infections. Ways for women to care for themselves, condoms use and so forth.

Sunday

Today I am working and finalizing my 'All about me project'. I will take some pictures and share what were my goals, my motto, who I admire, my kids and what makes me unique. I am also going to add pictures of my GYN project and all my classmates and their projects as well.
It has been so much fun these past few weeks I am really looking foward to more of 'Branford Hall'

My Gynecology Project

This was my part of the project, I will also share with my team had done for our department. Each group in our class had to choose. We were Gynecology, there is another for Pediatrician which I will add pictures of, also a department of Urgent Care, Uncology.
